TENUTA CASTELBUONO
Our Umbrian estate is devoted to the production of a rich and fascinating wine, Montefalco Sagrantino. Its Carapace, the winery designed by Arnaldo Pomodoro, is the first sculpture in the world in which people live and work.
HOW TO REACH US
From the SS75 take the Foligno Centro – Bevagna exit and drive straight ahead. You will go through several roundabouts and junctions as you carry on driving towards Bevagna. When you arrive at the crossroads at the entrance to the old town centre of Bevagna (Porta Foligno), turn right towards Cantalupo – Cannara – Castelbuono. At the next crossroads turn right, following the main road towards Cannara – Togliano. Drive straight on, going first through the hamlet of Capro and then the built-up area of Cantalupo. A few metres before the entrance to the IP filling station on the left-hand side of the road, turn left into Via della Formella (a dirt road). Continue along this road and go straight on through the junctions, passing the farmhouses on either side of the road. After a few hundred metres, on your left, you will find the entrance to Tenuta Castelbuono. – GPS Coordinates: 42°58’6.77”N 12°33’45.04”E -
