Tenute Lunelli Selected for the Fifteenth Edition of OperaWine
Tenute Lunelli has been officially selected by Wine Spectator to participate at the 15th edition of OperaWine, with its Carapace 2016 Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G.. Organized by the world’s most influential wine magazine in partnership with Veronafiere and Vinitaly, OperaWine is a prestigious showcase celebrating Italian wine excellence through exclusive tastings and encounters with leading experts, journalists, and industry professionals.
For the first time in its history, Tenute Lunelli joins the group of producers invited to this renowned event – a milestone achievement that rewards years of dedication, vision, and unwavering pursuit of excellence, while underscoring the winery’s growing presence on both the Italian and international stage.
The official announcement will be made by Alison Napjus, Senior Editor and Tasting Director at Wine Spectator, during wine2wine – Vinitaly Business Forum 2025, part of Vinitaly USA, taking place in Chicago on October 5–6, 2025. The forum serves as a key platform for dialogue among producers, importers, distributors, educators, and professionals in the wine sector.
This recognition follows another major accolade: the Tre Bicchieri award from Gambero Rosso for the Carapace 2020, reaffirming the quality of Tenute Lunelli wines, authentic and elegant expressions of the richness of their terroirs.
