TENUTE LUNELLI AT CASA ITALIA FOR THE MILANO CORTINA 2026 WINTER OLYMPICS
“Villa Margon 2021” to represent Trentino winemaking excellence in the official spaces of CONI
Tenute Lunelli has been selected by CONI to represent the excellence of Trentino wine at Casa Italia during the Milano Cortina 2026, taking place from 6 to 22 February.
The wine chosen for the occasion is Villa Margon 2021, Trentino Chardonnay D.O.C., a historic label of the estate, named after the Renaissance Villa Margon just outside Trento, the representative headquarters of the Lunelli Group. Distinguished by its elegance and complemented by a rich, enveloping mouthfeel, Villa Margon is a pure expression of the Trentino mountain Chardonnay and of the unmistakable Tenute Lunelli style.
Casa Italia, the hub of Italian hospitality during the Games, will be hosted across three official locations – Milan, Cortina and Livigno – and will serve as a meeting point for athletes, institutions, international delegations and media. Entitled Musa, the hospitality project celebrates Italy’s timeless power to inspire through its beauty, history, and creativity. In classical tradition, the Muses are memory guardians, knowledge nurturers and thought harmonizers through the arts. The gastronomic experience will be curated by chef Davide Oldani, who will pair his refined cuisine with the 26 “Olympic wines” selected to represent Italy’s regions by Lt Wine & Food Advisory, in collaboration with Corriere della Sera Deputy Editor Luciano Ferraro.
“Being part of Casa Italia during the Milano Cortina 2026 Olympics is a great source of pride for us,” said Marcello Lunelli, President of Tenute Lunelli. “Villa Margon is a wine that tells the story of mountain viticulture, our deep-rooted connection to the land, and a vision of quality grounded in respect and sustainability. Presenting it in such a prestigious setting means contributing to the global narrative of Italian excellence.”
This marks a renewed presence of the Lunelli Group at Casa Italia, having accompanied numerous Summer and Winter Olympic Games with its wines. A journey of continuity that reaffirms the Group’s commitment to representing the Italian art of living on the world’s most prestigious international stages.
