DoctorWine honors Tenute Lunelli
Tenute Lunelli Carapace Lunga Attesa 2018, Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G., has been awarded the impressive score of 97/100 points and the prestigious “DoctorWine Faccino” recognition in the Guida Essenziale ai Vini d’Italia 2026 by Daniele Cernilli — an award reserved exclusively for wines scoring above 95 points.
The result of a unique vinification process that blends wood, terracotta amphorae, and steel, followed by an extended period of maturation and refinement, Carapace Lunga Attesa stood out for its elegant complexity and balanced power —a true expression of the character and intensity typical of the Sagrantino grape.
The official presentation of the 11th edition of the Guide will take place on October 4th and 5th at the Hotel Principe di Savoia in Milan.
