Carapace Montefalco Sagrantino 2020 wins the Three Glasses from Gambero Rosso
Tenute Lunelli Carapace 2020, Montefalco Sagrantino D.O.C.G., has been awarded the “Tre Bicchieri” in the 2026 “Vini d’Italia” wine Guide by Gambero Rosso, the most prestigious recognition for Italian wine reserved for labels that achieve the highest scores in tastings.
This award recognises Carapace as one of the finest expressions of Montefalco Sagrantino and shows the Lunelli family’s constant drive for excellence. It’s a wine that speaks to their ability to bring out the character and personality of this grape variety in a totally original way.
The presentation event of the Guide is scheduled for October 12th in Rome where guests will have the opportunity to taste the award-winning wines.
